Learn Alpine Mountaineering Skills

This intermediate weekend course takes you to Colorado where you'll climb two 14'ers (mountains with a summit over 14,000 feet above sea level) while learning how to travel safely and efficiently in alpine conditions. Space limited to 6 clients.

  • Colin Hower - Colorado Mountain Guide, Wilderness EMT, and AIARE Level 2 Instructor

Date and location

  • Date: November 4-6
  • Location: Grays Peak and Torreys Peak, Dillon, CO
  • Transportation: Self Transport to Denver International Airport for pickup/shuttle.


  • 18 years of age or older
  • Adequate fitness to carry a heavy pack on steep terrain
  • Must sign a liability waiver
